Before he became a partner in Blue in Green Gardens LLC, Ruomi Lee Hampel worked as a supervisor with the company for over 10 years.

His prior experience as a large orchard stand manager at the Union Square Farmer's Market and as a film producer has been invaluable in running the daily operations of Blue in Green Gardens.

Naima Green is a native New Yorker who has gardened since childhood, beginning in her own tiny back yard in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

After many years working with various landscape design firms and floral designers, she obtained her Diploma in Horticulture from the prestigious School of Professional Horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden in 2006.

The skills she learned there, from pest identification and basic garden practices to architectural drafting and soil science, have guided Blue in Green Gardens' professional staff to maintain a standard of excellence that is practiced in all of our gardens.

Blue in Green Gardens began as a tiny shop on a quiet Greenwich Village street specializing in garden antiques and small garden installations.

14 years later, we've grown into a full service landscape design, installation, and maintenance firm.

In addition to working with residential clients on their terraces, rooftops, and townhouse back yards, we often also work closely with managing agents on the landscape needs for large buildings, including condominiums and coops.
