Blue In Green Gardens

Native New Yorkers Naima Green and Ruomi Lee Hampel have been friends since high school,

and have been collectively greening NYC for over 20 years.

 

Raised in Park Slope Brooklyn, with a tiny backyard of her own, Naima started her career as a ballet dancer.  After being sidelined by a knee injury, Naima turned her focus toward a botany degreen, then a horticulture degree from the

New York Botanical Garden, and has been designing and planting gardens ever since.

 

Ruomi Lee-Hampel was raised in the arts, and later attended La Guardia HS and NYU for training in acting and filmmaking.  He has always valued the logistics required to bring a creative vision to life! Ruomi leads the efficient and passionate team we’ve assembled to install and maintain our diverse gardens.
